Save the Date - Julifs Park Pack Picnic - May 29
Pack picnic at Juilffs park Friday, May 29, 4-8 pm. This one is important, as this will include a "graduation ceremony" for our Tiger Cubs, who will receive their Tiger Cub Badge and officially move on to become Wolf Cubs. Other fun events are planned as well. Details to follow, but block the date on your calendars.
Save the Date - Zoo Sleepover - May 9th
The very popular Zoo sleepover is slated for Saturday May 9. Participation is limited, so look at the calendar (yes, the 10th is Mother's Day)and be ready to RSVP quickly. More specific details will follow later, but I wanted to give everyone some advance notice.
Upcoming Events
Good afternoon, as we dive into the heart of spring I wanted to provide the most up to date calendar for you regarding cub scouts.
Couple of quick notes; unless you have an interest in or already involved with the presentation your attendance is not required to attend new scout night on Wednesday April 22, 2009. If willing, please get the word out. Signs will be sprinkled throughout the School district in the following days. If you see one vandalized or taken down-please put back up or fix.
We would like for the boys to wear their level 2 (shirt) uniform on Tuesday and level 1 (uniform) on Wednesday. As soon as we have a cost for the zoo event we will let the entire pack know. It is a pack favorite and fills up quickly. As soon as we have dates for Rocket Day, Fun with Son, Summer Activities such as baseball games, American Legion Carnival and mulching, we will let you know. I hope this helps in planning.
These dates are in addition to any Den meetings you are involved with. In June we will have a Pack event to build our float for the Anderson Township 4th of July parade. We will look for a volunteer to carry the Flag for Anderson Township. If anyone has a desire or experience in float building we would be very interested in your assistance. We have already secured a vehicle and trailer for the float. Thanks again for your continued interest in Scouting.
